How to identify

Habitat
Rocky mountainous and hilly areas, especially dry rocky cliffs and shrublands.

Diurnal, with activity most frequent in early morning and late afternoon.
Where it lives
Distributed in East and Southern Africa, including Kenya, Tanzania, Angola, Namibia; also found in Kenya's Maasai Mara National Reserve.
